the Nikon D500 and Canon EOS 7D Mark II are both great all-rounder cameras that can do a lot of your work, in which it gives you an excellent facility by which you can do your job easily?

Choosing the best DSLR becomes very easy when you decide which type of user you are.

We choose three DSLRs that are great because of their original features, price, and ease of use. Enthusiasts want a DSLR from their old camera,

and professionals will need a high-resolution full-frame camera. We have divided our buying guide into three sections to cater to each type of user.

Review:- SwordFish

This camera is for the true professionals. The price is completely justified. Combined with the right glass, this camera is capable of producing some excellent results.

I am not a big fan of digital photography; I’m an old fashioned film guy that still shoots with a Hasselblad and 4 X 5.

I somewhat reluctantly bought a Nikon D F as my first “good” digital camera only because of its retro styling. It resembled my F 3 HP’s.

But having said that, the D 850 has won me over. This camera offers the resolution that rivals film and an amazing ISO range. Combine

e that with the high-speed operation and the convenience of digital capture and I’ve probably shot my last roll of 35 mm film.

I’m still going to keep my medium and large format cameras, but holy cow, the images from this camera are simply superb!

I’m a landscape, nature and environmental portrait photographer, so this review should be viewed in that context.

I don’t shoot sports, weddings nor do product photography so the specific needs of those photographers are foreign to me.

The features that I discuss are important to me, but there may be some missing that are important to you.

Best Laptop in India 2020

Some of my favorite things, in no particular order:

1. The aforementioned resolution is simply fantastic! The capture of details is truly amazing. It’s not 4X5 quality, but it certainly approaches that.

And think of all the images one can capture with this camera as opposed to the shots missed with medium and large format gear due to the hassles of lugging it around.

2. The viewfinder is extraordinarily bright. Brilliant!

3. Terrific ability to recover underexposed and shadow areas with very little noise. Far better than I’ve ever seen with other digital capture cameras.

4. Auto focus works extremely well even in low contrast scenes.

5. ISO range is entirely usable. Noise certainly increases at the higher ISO settings, but it is not objectionable.

My only criticism of the camera is that it is big and heavy. It has to be, I suppose, to squeeze in all that technology; nonetheless, it would be nice if it were a bit smaller.

With respect to size, I did get a chance to shoot it side by side with my friends D810. The D850 did sit better in the hand than the D810.

The D850 felt a bit heavier but more comfortable to hold. I believe that was because the D850 is a bit thinner with a deeper handgrip area. At least that’s the way it felt.

 I won’t do a comparison between the D 810 and the D 850 because I don’t have any depth of experience with the D 810.

All I’ll say is that when we compared images side by side in Light room, the D 850 images were superior in all cases.

Not hugely so, mind you, but even my friend agreed the D 850 was the undisputed winner.

With only a few days logged with the camera, those are my initial observations.

You’ll notice I said nothing about the D 850’s video capabilities and that’s because what I don’t know about shooting video would fill an encyclopedia (remember those?).

I’ll leave that to those that know what they’re talking about. But, as a still photographer for some 45+ years now,

I couldn’t be happier with the D 850. The image quality is stunning. And if that’s all it offered, it would be worth the price of admission.

But it also has a host of other features — of which I’m sure you’ve already read — that make this a true standout. I’m so glad I acquired one.

I’ll keep my "D F" because I like the size and the retro styling and I’ll keep my medium and large format cameras just because, but the D 850 is going to be my go-to camera. And from a film die hard, that’s quite a statement.

Best top load washing machine in India -2020 – Review

It has dual card slots for both CF and SD cards, USB 3.0 connectivity and even has built-in GPS** for easy location tagging, automatically.

Compatible with an ever-expanding collection of EF and EF-S lenses plus a host of EOS accessories, the EOS 7D Mark II is an ideal tool for creative and ambitious photography.

The number of available AF points, and whether single line or cross-type, varies depending on the lens.
** In certain countries and regions, the use of GPS may be restricted.

Therefore be sure to use GPS in accordance with the laws and regulations of your country or region. Be particularly careful when traveling outside your home country.

As a signal is received from GPS satellites, take sufficient measures when using in locations where the use of electronics is regulated.

Superlative Sensor for Gorgeous Images

20.2 Megapixel CMOS (APS-C) sensor and ISO 100–16000 The EOS 7D Mark II has a newly designed 20.2 Megapixel sensor that delivers high-resolution image files with stunning detail and impressive clarity.

Optimized for low-light shooting, the EOS 7D Mark II’s sensor captures images at up to ISO 16000 (expandable to H1: 25600,

H2: 51200) with remarkably low noise, thanks to its improved, higher sensitivity design.

Phenomenal for stills, the EOS 7D Mark II’s sensor is equally up to the task for movies, delivering Full HD capture even at rates of up to 60p.

Dual DIGIC 6 Image Processors

The EOS 7D Mark II’s sensor works seamlessly with its Dual DIGIC 6 Image Processors for advanced image processing across the board.

These image processors help the EOS 7D Mark II capture up to 1090 JPEG, 31 RAW, and 19 RAW + JPEG shots in a single burst for amazing action photography.

Further, they enable the camera’s powerful image processing on-the-fly: lens aberration, variances in peripheral illumination

and image distortion can all be corrected in real-time thanks to the EOS 7D Mark II’s Dual DIGIC 6 Image Processors.

Speed Improvements Across the Board

7D Mark II
High-speed continuous shooting up to 10.0 fps allows you to capture fast action
With a new,

rugged shutter designed for 200,000 cycles, the EOS 7D Mark II can shoot up to 10 frames per second to capture all the action.

With super quick AF and exposure systems complementing the shutter’s 55 msec shutter release time lag,

the EOS 7D Mark II is tailored to meet and even exceed the speed of the action.

Refined mechanics like a newly designed, more efficient shutter-drive motor and

a vibration dampened mirror drive mean impressive performance for high caliber image quality, fast.

Sophisticated Mirror Control System

The EOS 7D Mark II camera employs an advanced mirror vibration control technology that enables

the camera to support its speedy, continuous shooting capabilities while ensuring great image quality.

The system uses a motor to help reduce the vibrations caused by high-speed shooting. By reducing

the vibrations, the camera can achieve accurate and precise autofocus to provide steady and clear action shots at up to 10.0 frames per second.

Brilliant, Speedy AF Tracking

65-point* all cross-type AF system for high-performance, accurate subject tracking with EV -3 sensitivity (center point) for focusing in extreme low-light conditions

An EOS first, the EOS 7D Mark II features 65 all cross-type AF points* for high precision AF at remarkable speed.

Cross-type AF points ensure stable AF that is not influenced by the subject’s shape or color.

On the EOS 7D Mark II, the AF points are spread over a wide area of the frame, enabling faster AF,

wherever the subject lies. With a central dual cross-type AF point of f/2.8, AF is enhanced with lenses faster than f/2.8. And thanks to this new system,

AF is possible even in dim lighting as low as EV-3.

* The number of available AF points, and whether single line or cross-type, varies depending on the lens.

7D Mark II

Achieve Impressive AF During Video Capture Canon’s innovative Dual Pixel CMOS AF enables you to shoot video like

a camcorder with smooth, fast, and accurate Auto focus and lets you enjoy instant and precise Auto focus even when shooting stills

The EOS 7D Mark II features Canon’s revolutionary Dual Pixel CMOS AF, a milestone in AF speed and accuracy that unlocks the potential of Live View shooting.

This advanced technology has truly changed what is possible with a DSLR camera.

Dual Pixel CMOS AF involves a sophisticated rethinking of the CMOS sensor. Traditionally, image sensors have one Photo diode per pixel for recording,

but the CMOS sensor on the EOS 7D Mark II has two Photo diodes per pixel, 40 million in total, enabling each pixel on the sensor

to both perform phase-difference detection Auto focus and capture light. With phase-difference detection AF, Auto focus is achieved quickly and easily on the camera.

This unique AF system enables Auto-focus on approximately 80% of the image plane, vertically and horizontally, and helps ensure virtually no loss in image quality.

7D Mark II

The benefits of Dual Pixel CMOS AF are clearly evident in Live View and video shooting, where the EOS 7D Mark II achieves natural, precise focus very quickly, even when switching between subjects.

And, combined with the predictive power of Movie Servo AF, subjects in motion are smoothly and consistently tracked – once focus is locked, the EOS 7D Mark II holds on! Plus,

with the shallow depth-of-field afforded by EOS optics, video gains a brilliant, cinematic ambiance lacking when shooting video with many other Digital SLRs.

HD Quality, EOS Performance

Stunning Full HD video with custom Movie Servo AF (speed and sensitivity) for continuous focus tracking of moving subjects,

multiple frame rates including Full HD recording at 60p in MOV and MP4 formats and uncompressed HDMI out

While offering performance improvements across the board for still photography, the EOS 7D Mark II is also an incredibly capable HD movie camera.

Taking advantage of its Dual Pixel CMOS AF capabilities, the EOS 7D Mark II has customizable Movie Servo AF options: not only can AF location be defined, but AF speed and tracking intervals can also be specified too, for fluid, smooth focus transitions.

The EOS 7D Mark II delivers refined and detailed image quality with Full HD 60P recording at ISO values up to 16000, has an HDMI output and records to both SD and CF cards for versatility and security during important shoots.

Comprehensive Information, Right in the Viewfinder

Intelligent Viewfinder II provides approximately 100% field of view for shooting ease
The EOS 7D Mark II’s Intelligent Viewfinder II makes it easy to both shoot,

change and confirm camera settings and shooting modes all without looking away from the viewfinder.

Displaying approximately 100% of the composition

, the viewfinder can show settings like shooting mode, exposure level, white balance, drive mode, AF operation, metering mode, recording format, even an electronic level and more.

All of this information can be displayed by or superimposed easily over the image for review while shooting, and multiple views are customizable through the EOS 7D Mark II’s simple user interface.

Specialty Controls, Built Right In

Improved custom controls and built-in intervalometer and bulb timer for expanded creativity
An EOS first,

the EOS 7D Mark II offers time-lapse fixed-point shooting and long exposures without the need for remote control.

The EOS 7D Mark II’s interval timer takes from 1 to 99 shots at preselected intervals, ideal for shooting flowers as they bloom or clouds drifting through the sky.

Its built-in bulb timer keeps the shutter open for a designated amount of time, perfect for night photography, or to capture the flow of traffic on a street corner.

 Built to Perform

Magnesium alloy body with shutter durability up to 200,000 cycles and enhanced dust and weather resistance

The EOS 7D Mark II is constructed of the highest quality materials, and to exacting standards that ensure unfettered performance at all times.

For example, the shutter can shoot at speeds up to 1/8000 sec. for up to 200,000 cycles, the chassis is built of lightweight and rigid magnesium,

and the camera’s seals are built to resist water and dust. This combination makes the EOS 7D Mark II ready for almost anything.

Speed and Accuracy with Intelligent Subject Recognition and Analysis

EOS Scene Detection System features a new 150,000-pixel RGB+IR Metering Sensor for improved precision

The EOS 7D Mark II has an amazing iSA Intelligent Subject Analysis system that employs an independent RGB light sensor with approximately 150,000-pixel resolution.

This sensor enables Canon’s intelligent Tracking and Recognition system (iTR AF) that detects and tracks subjects,

automatically switching the AF point to optimize tracking.

With new tracking algorithms tailored to recognize faces and colors, this system serves as a brilliant foundation for the EOS 7D Mark II’s AF system.

Extraordinary GPS, Built-in

Built-in GPS* Receiver provides a digital compass, records location information (longitude, latitude,

elevation and universal coordinated time (UTC)) as EXIF information for geotagging images when shooting

Ideal for travel or nature photography, the EOS 7D Mark II’s built-in GPS* can record longitude,

latitude and altitude data as EXIF data can track movement at set intervals with its logging function,

and can even set the camera’s internal clock to local time!

When using the logger function on a computer, you will see the exact route you traveled, and the map will show you where and when you took each image.

In certain countries and regions, the use of GPS may be restricted.

Therefore be sure to use GPS in accordance with the laws and regulations of your country or region.

Be particularly careful when traveling outside your home country.

As a signal is received from GPS satellites, take sufficient measures when using in locations where the use of electronics is regulated.

Sharp and Clear Viewing

3.0-inch Clear View II LCD monitor (approximately 1,040,000 dots) for bright and clear viewing.

The EOS 7D Mark II comes with a 3.0-inch Clear View II LCD monitor for shooting videos and stills.

Displaying fine detail (at approximately 1.04 million dots), this screen is perfect for composing and reviewing images.

Thanks to a solid construction between the monitor’s resin-coated cover and the liquid crystal display,

reflections are minimized, and the display can be viewed with reduced glare.

The LCD’s surface is treated with a smudge-resistant coating to minimize fingerprints and maintain a bright, clear image display.

Additional Features

Anti-flicker shooting - The EOS 7D Mark II features a new flicker detection system that not only alerts the user in the viewfinder but with

the camera’s Anti-Flicker Shooting function can compensate for flickering light sources, taking shots only at peak light volume.

This feature is useful for minimizing disparities in color and exposure, especially during continuous shooting in sub-optimal lighting situations.

In-camera lens aberration corrections

To help photographers with achieving high-quality images, the EOS 7D Mark II corrects image distortions like peripheral illumination,

chromatic aberration, and distortion, in-camera, as the image is recorded.

When shooting in Live View mode, the results of distortion can even be monitored in real-time through the EOS 7D Mark II’s Image Simulation Function.

USB 3.0
The EOS 7D Mark II features a USB 3.0 digital terminal for fast transfer to PCs and printers, plus offers connectivity to Canon’s WFT-E7 (Version 2) for wireless transfer and Wi-Fi compatibility.

NOTE: For connecting an interface cable to the USB 3.0 terminal, a cable protector is included with the EOS 7D Mark II,

and must be used at all times to protect the camera’s circuit board

If you are willing to get a Canon camera, then this camera will prove to be the best for you, but you will not get WiFi and Bluetooth in it.

But the camera doesn’t need to be good with them, in this way, you can do all the work in this,

if you want to take pictures of wildlife, action, and sports,

Review:- Saravana Kumar K

Well, this is a Beast for sports and wildlife photography, especially with the stunning Auto-focus and 10 frames per second.

its no slouch for portraits and landscape either. I have been using this for about two months.

I got it with Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8G and Sigma 17-50 mm F/2.8 EX DC OS ( Waiting for the Nikkor 200-500 mm f5.6 ).

I played this camera with 50 mm most of the time, the picture quality is exceptional with the crazy Auto-focus ability you won’t miss anything,

and it has 153 point Auto-focus with 99 cross-type which spreads across the censor so the ability to compose is so good,

and the dynamic range is great for an APS-C body, I played with the raw file, and recovering shadows and highlight is extremely good.

Great low light performance, even at higher ISO ( 12800 ) the image looks great I mean there are noises but its negligible ( for an APS-C ), beyond that range more noises.

I wouldn’t go beyond 12800, although it would go up to 51,200.

This is a pro body and you need a fast lens to get most out of this. My Wish-list is Sigma 18-35 mm F 1.8, Sigma 50-100 mm f/1.8

and Nikkor 200-500 mm f 5.6 ( this is the holy trinity glasses for this body ) and you are all set for any type of situation.

WiFi & Bluetooth is tied up with Nikon’s Snap-bridge app and right now it is working ok,

but the transferring rate from the camera to mobile is slow. I think the upcoming version will get improved.

This has FULL HD & 4K video shooting capability which I haven’t used much but anyway its there and the quality looks great too.

with my limited experiment if you are going to take a lot of videos then this camera may not be a good choice as

the focus speed in live view is terrible, but still this is extremely good ( one of the best ) just pick this, you won’t regret it.

I am extremely happy with this camera and would happily recommend this to anyone any day.

However this body would be overkill for a normal usage,

If you are pro or amateur who interested in sports and wildlife photography ( although this is good for anything ) then this the no brainer, just buy one.

Thanks to the seller DAFFODIL-ELECTRONICS, great response and timely delivery.

Review😛 M

I have always been a Nikon fanboy but I will try my best to keep this review unbiased and to the point,

make sure you read the complete review as this will give you a fair idea if this camera is the right purchase for you.

Review summary

Lovely build quality something you can expect from one of the best Japanese manufacturers.

It feels built to last and solid in your hand, a great thing when you are paying a premium.

The articulating touch screen is great, but there is a major flaw here, the overall design is disappointing as movement is not as good as

I have seen in most Cameras it lacks the complete invert downward movement which is very important and useful for bloggers.

As I have mentioned below, the Nikon loses out to some of its competitors in terms of some features, but in terms of performance, It will blow you away.

Review :-  i Shrunk

Canon 6D Mark II is the most anticipated camera after 5D Mark IV in recent times, whilst we have been expecting its launch from October 2016. Finally,

I have the pleasure of both using and reviewing it, which is quite a pleasing experience until now.

The introduction of 6D Mark II came after a long wait of 5 years since the inception of 6D, thereby packed with many changes and technological advancements.

:::::::::::::::::::: Why 6D Mark II ? ::::::::::::::::::::
Whenever there is a launch of the new model, we are faced with an ever gripping question – Should I buy it?
Before elaborating on it, I would like you to know two things if you are sticking to Canon:

a) 5D Mark III – Almost unavailable in the market.
b) 5D Mark IV – Costs almost double than 6D Mark II.

:::::::::::::::::::: Positives ::::::::::::::::::::

After my hands on the device and using it for a few weeks, I am quite satisfied with it. Some of the noticeable advantages of the Mark II are summarized below:

1) Extremely Cost Efficient Full Frame Camera – 6D Mark II is the most cost-effective DSLR among all the Canon EOS Full Frame devices and stands tall with technological advancements.

2) Significant Technological Upgrades – There have been significant technological upgrades as compared to the 6D model and its presence is felt with each passing click.

The changes are:

i) Resolution: Mark II flaunts 26.2MP, an increase from 20.6MP.
ii) Digital Imaging Integrated Circuit (DIGIC): There has been an upgrade to DIGIC 7, up from the available DIGIC 5+ in 6D. DIGIC 7 is much efficient in the handling of the heavy image file, thereby saving them to the memory much faster than DIGIC 5+

iii) Focus Points: 45 autofocus points (all cross-type), a jump from 11 autofocus points (center cross-type). However, the autofocus points are seemed to be crammed at the center, like all other full-frame cameras. Naturally, the presence of all cross-type helps in fast focusing.

iv) Frames per Second (fps): Both the Canon’s 6D supports 1080p recording, but, the fps rate has been raised from 30fps to 60fps.
v) Weather Resistant: 6D Mark II has debuted the weather-resistant feature which is a ‘cherry on the cake’.

3) ISO – Mark II has normal ISO in the range of 100 to 40,000 and it can be extended to the range of 50 to 1,02,4000.

The video ISO, however, has the range between 100 to 25,600.
In most of the cases,

the noise will be negligible while taking pictures in ISO 1600 and even the clicks taken in the ISO range of 3200 to 6400 will be used for most purposes. However,

it is to be noted that the option of using the pictures on occasions will continue to be diminished as we increase the ISO from 1600.

Many use the ETTR (Expose To The Right) strategy to lower the noise in pictures,

however, doing so can have slight issues in Dynamic Range, in comparison to other DSLRs.

I was expecting Mark II to handle the Dynamic Range better, but it is not the case.

4) Availability of Remote Shutter App – Canon has an application both for Android and Apple devices which communicates with the camera via Wi-Fi.

You can use the app for camera remote, image viewing, to name a few. It is indeed a positive approach of Canon in ‘delighting us always’.

5) Lightest in the Class – The total weight of the body along with the battery stands at a mere 765gms.

According to the Canon website, it is the lightest DSLR in the EOS Full Frame line up. Having a light full-frame camera in everyday life is such a relief that I cannot sketch my excitement in words.

6) Vari-Angle Touch Panel – The Mark II is packed with a vari-angle touch panel that has multiple benefits.

It helps in varied angle photos, while the touch panel has packed in ease of the touch.

7) Digital 5 Axis Image Stabilization – Mark II is also pampered with Digital 5 Axis Image Stabilization which makes it quite easy to record video,

nullifying the effects of unintentional shakes, both vertical or horizontal. It is highly useful while recording at 1080p, in both 30 and 60 fps.

:::::::::::::::::::: Negatives ::::::::::::::::::::

Even the best performing devices have flaws in it and these are some of the shortcomings, I cannot seem to ignore:

  1.  Missing Inbuilt Flash — Following the trend, the Mark II lacks an inbuilt flash which did not come to me as a surprise.
  2. Though it does not affect my decision of owning it as I do not prefer using on-camera flash under any situation, it might be disappointing to few.
  3.  Menu Driven Controls — Mark II lacks dedicated control buttons and is infused with menu-driven controls. Usually,
  4. the professionals who are involved in photography for a long time will surely find

  1. a bit uneasy using the menu-driven controls as it will not only delay their performance but also will lead to frustration.
  2. We wish for hassle-free experience while using a camera and this feature has surely not helped the cause.

  1. Single SD Card Slot — Not having a second slot clearly hinders the peace of mind and we have to constantly keep track of the storage.
  2. While the liberty of saving different image formats in separate cards is shattered, not having a backup of the picture is tad terrifying.
  3. Missing 4K Videography — I was in high hopes for the Mark II launch and hands-on with 4K videography was one the vital reason for it.
  4. It surely came to me as a shock that Mark II has no 4K videography, but, taking the price bracket into consideration it surely doesn’t make me disappointed.

:::::::::::::::::::: Miscellaneous ::::::::::::::::::::

These are some of the features which I could not include either add in pros or cons:

  1.  Mark II has backward compatibility with lenses from the past 30 years, with the exception of the APS-C camera’s EF-S / EF-M lenses.
  2. There is no option for adjusting LCD’s Brightness but is sufficiently bright for most occasions.
  3. The image quality of Mark II seems identical to the range of 5D S / SRs. It is to be however noted that the hard-core professionals,
  4. using their professional skills might find some enhancements which will have no effect on either normal or semi-professional user.

:::::::::::::::::::: Conclusion ::::::::::::::::::::

Taking all points into consideration, I would term this a good buy. The close competitor to Canon 6D Mark II will be Nikon D750, which is a 3 years’ old model. In my opinion,

Nikon D750 produces the same picture quality, despite being cheaper than Canon Mark II. However, the video quality on 6D Mark II is much better than D750.

It will be an ideal buy for those who are considering owning a Canon full-frame camera.

Also, one who wishes to upgrade from 6D can definitely think of it as an option due to the added advantages as discussed in the review.

Review:- Anil

I upgraded to this camera from D 3100 & Sony HX 400 V.

This camera is loaded with features. One of the best entry-level professional camera or a great camera for an amateur photographer. With my last DSLR, I had 18-55 & 70-300.

Having understood the difficulty in changing the lens every time this time I went with an 18-140 lens.

The camera is lightweight, handy, the menu is easy to understand, connectivity to mobile is awesome.

Also installed Helicon Remote app & Adobe photoshop express app in mobile which makes easy to take the picture, send to your mobile, edit & upload.

The lens is a little heavy as I expected, but the clarity, focus response, sharpness is great. Unlike other reviews,

I got a good camera bag. Without any second thought, you can buy this.
